on the water.

Comox Lodge No. 188 was granted dispensation in 1919 and warranted the year after, making us one of the older lodges on Vancouver Island. The founders were fishermen, loggers, tradesmen, and a schoolmaster — men who built the hall that still stands on Comox Avenue.

We meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The work is serious; the food, afterward, is not. Visitors and members alike are expected at 7:30 in tie and jacket.
